NEW CHILD WELCOMING CEREMONY
Our celebration begins with a beautiful poem and Jesus' lesson on blessing children from The Gospel of Mark. We talk about the importance of parenthood. Promises are made about setting good examples and providing guidance for the child. You may appoint Godparents. Others may be invited to participate.
We pray for the family, and some choose anointing the child's head with the sign of the cross (with water from The Jordan River where Jesus Himself was baptized by immersion).
In any case, the ceremony culminates with the parents pronouncing the name that will be with this child for a lifetime. It is truly worth celebrating life!
This service is available any day at any location or host it at Chapel Bellavista (up to 50 people), all by appointment.

KISSED BY THE ANGELS CHAPEL PACKAGE
This package includes the complete NEW CHILD Ceremony described above and is available on most Saturday mornings at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday afternoons at 3:30 p.m., at beautiful Chapel Bellavista. (50 people limit).
The KISSED BY THE ANGELS CHAPEL PACKAGE begins with your visit to our professional family photographer's studio. Your new child will be entertained and joyfully photographed so you can share up to 30 high-quality images with your family and friends. You keep & control the media!
The chapel package includes the celebrating minister and a live harpist to set the angelic mood. We also provide two illustrated copies of the ceremony manuscript, programs for your guests, the Jordan River water, and a commemorative certificate.
The Sunday afternoon package includes bread and cheese snacks. The Saturday morning package includes petit danish. Coffee, lemonade and water service is provided for either.
This package includes a keepsake ceremonial oil lamp for lighting the traditional Christian flame, and you will receive by mail, three DVDs of the entire professionally videotaped service.
